All Flesh is Dust

I simply enjoy the humor of God! There are some things that we fight about that carry absolutely no importance whatsoever. We are perusing God's heart and mind as it relates to race/color, and we have been learning that the flesh profiteth little. Let us consider something.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. - Gen 2:7

The scripture above outlines how God made Adam. He made his body from the dust, and his soul from the air (breath). However, something that is so important is the fact that God made the soul eternal. He placed within the soul a spirit and a conscience, which would allow it to never cease from living. However, the flesh is brought alive by the presence of the soul in it; without the soul, it dies.

I was at a funeral recently and the Lord said something to me. He said, "All dust is the same color" When He said this He was speaking more specifically to the dust the body becomes after it dies. It doesn't matter which race, color, creed, culture, gender, class or nation, they shall all become dust.

All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust. - Job 34:15

This is the humorous part. It doesn't matter how much races fight against one another, and are segregated, they will be unified in one thing - death. All flesh is dust, let us refrain from identifying with dust, and focus on the Spirit which quickeneth to eternal life.
