Ask yourself this question.
“Do I truly see the simplicity of walking in the Spirit, or am I still fearful and afraid of failing God?”
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. - 2 Corinthians 4:7
We need to understand that the Gospel is all about the Mystery of Christ, which is Jesus living in us. The scripture says that we shall be saved by the life (Spirit) of Jesus living in us, His sons. This causes us to know that holiness is not achieved by the power of our will or how well we remember sermons. It is Jesus Himself, that will keep us by His own power.
Before salvation, we naturally did evil. Even when we tried our best to be good our thoughts and emotions failed us. However, when we got saved, Jesus is physically present in us. Therefore, when someone comes in contact with us, they also come in contact with Jesus within them.
Galatians 2:20, causes us to know that the life we live in the flesh is by the life of Christ. Or rather, it is Christ Himself who lives through us. Why then should we worry or fear if Christ Jesus has control? All I have to do is allow Him to have His way in my by being obedient to my conscience when He leads or nudges me. If I do this I will never fall - because Christ by His own power will keep me! Isn’t this exciting? Go tell someone about the good news!
