Evil Knowledge

Do you remember the story of Adam, how God came down in the cool of the day to fellowship with him? This could only happen because Adam’s state was one of sinlessness. It was not until he ate of the forbidden fruit that he was separated from God. This separation affected not only him but the whole human race.

Genesis 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?

Listen to God. He is saying to Adam, “When I created you, I made you holy, and pure. I fashioned you without the awareness of your nakedness. The fact that you have called yourself naked, has revealed that you have corrupted by evil.” This is the communication of evil knowledge. This is how Adam knew he was naked. Evil found something for Adam to be ashamed of as well as something to separate him from his wife and communicated that knowledge to his spirit. He responded by covering himself and blaming his wife. The knowledge of evil was now present in him.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Even as God created Adam without evil knowledge, He did the same for us at salvation. when we received the Holy Ghost we were made sinless and holy. Even as Adam had no knowledge of his nakedness, God removed the workings of the knowledge of evil that worked in us. Now, only the knowledge of God works and thrives in our hearts. Any evil thought is from outside influence (foreign) that we choose to let in. If we choose to let in evil influence God will cease from fellowshipping with us.

We are Sons of the Most High God, Our nature is holiness let us walk as who we are so that God will manifest Himself to us even the more.
