Last week, we covered things that will hinder a person's ministry from coming forth. One of those things was unbelief
Hebrews 4:12 KJV
[12] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word is alive and powerful. When it is embraced it has the power to do its own working in your heart. Paul said He was made a minister according to the effectual working of the Grace of God within Him. In other words, whatever His gift taught Him, He believed and lived it, and that word took effect, making Him a minister.
Many, however, really believe that the believe the word of God, but when push comes to shove and at a moment of surprise when it is demanded that they be a son of God on the spot, many flee the scene. This is unbelief. We must believe that we are the righteousness of God. Receive the word with your whole heart.
In my time in ministry, I have realized that many have a desire to walk in their ministry. Despite this, the truth is that the greater part of those who desire to walk in their ministry are not walking in the fullness of their calling. I have found that there are various things that inhibit a person from finding themselves in ministry, here are a few.
