The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and his inheritance. Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the Lord is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them. Deuteronomy 18:1-2 KJV
How would you feel if God said that you shall have nothing?
You will never have a plot of land, a house, car, husband, wife, fancy job! What do you desire the most? What if God chooses to withhold it from you? What if he said, instead of your desires, I give you my desires? Instead of your vision, I give you my vision. Instead of your life, I give you my life. Take my dreams. Would that be enough? Would having God as your only inheritance satisfy you? Would that be an inheritance welcomed with joy?
God denied himself of his Kingly array for the sake of having sons and daughters. In order to follow him to his Kingdom, we have to deny our earthly array. Is it worth giving up everything?
